It Started With a Dog Who Couldn't Find Clothes That Fit

This is Maxine. She's an English Bulldog. And for her whole life, nothing fit.

Every hoodie we tried was made for "dogs" — generic, off-the-rack, one-size-fits-none. But bulldogs aren't built like other dogs. They've got the barrel chest. The thick neck. The wide shoulders. The stocky frame that makes them who they are.

So we stopped looking. And we started building.

True Bully Co. was created for one reason: to make clothes that actually fit bulldogs.

Not "small, medium, large." Not "kinda fits if you squint." But engineered around the bulldog body — the measurements, the proportions, the way they move.

Our first hoodie was designed with Maxine's exact build in mind. Every seam, every cut, every detail. Because she deserved better. And so does every bulldog out there.

The Founders Edition: Where It Came From

The Founders Edition Camo Hoodie was inspired by a piece I owned years ago — a limited-edition Louis Vuitton × Takashi Murakami "Monogramouflage" bag from 2008. Camo pattern. Red leather detail. Gold hardware. I bought it in Las Vegas and never let it go.

That same energy — taking something bold and utilitarian and making it unmistakably premium — is what we brought to this hoodie. Custom olive camo. Signature red contrast stitching. Embroidered in cream and red. Numbered inside: #___ of 100.

Only 100 will ever exist. Once they're gone, they're gone forever.

Right now, we're in the final stages. Our samples are on their way, our production is lined up, and our first run is being made.

The Details Matter

Premium heavyweight cotton blend fleece. Bar tack embroidery — stitched, not printed. Custom "TRUEBULLYCO" woven hem tag. Ribbed cuffs and hem. A kangaroo pocket on the front.

Every hoodie ships in a custom True Bully Co. gift box — matte black with a rainbow stripe, gold and cream lettering, and a bulldog portrait on the lid.
